The Women's Healthcare Group (Quivira and 435) is seeking a skilled full time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our patient care team. This individual will work with our physicians and mid-level providers to provide outstanding care in our busy practice. This position would be trained in all clinical aspects of the office and provide back-up coverage to the Front Desk
The responsibilities of a CMA at Women's Healthcare Group include:
- Welcoming patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Preparing patients and room for the health care visit
- Verify patient information; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
- Supports patient care delivery
- Completes records by entering orders as directed by physician and recording test results into the Electronic Medical Record.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
- This position also provides float coverage to the Front Desk
Starting wage range: $19-$23/hr Depending on Experience

Education and Experience:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant required
- BLS Certification
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred
